I can make more money trading than fighting Dominators, so I simply drop 100k on military bases for fleets. Then you can buy good equipment and start fighting Dominators if the war requires it. Some text adventures are okay, but most of them are little more than very, very, very long winded trial and error situations which take so bloody long to complete, I could have been involved in six dominator wars by then. Using bank money and business studies you can grow your business very quickly. Missions - these were great, until the text adventures cropped up.
This also doesn't bring in much and takes forever as most of the time, the good guy fleets get slaughtered and I have to leg it before the me.
I managed to find a useful micro upgrade thingy, but other than that not much in the way of money making stuff.ĭominators - I've taken to watching the news, and joining the raiding parties, then I sit back, occasionally throwing a few missiles at the enemy (just so I can claim the partial credit) then running around grabbing the nodes and dominator equipment. Planet exploration - dumping the probes and coming back later. Piracy - my ship is too weak to take out more than the occasional lone ship who is usually carrying very little or seems to consider his life worthless. So far, in my attempts to get rich quick, I've tried: Space Rangers 2: Dominators - my most beloved game ever. Endless game and stunning graphics for that time. The transitions between planet and space are fast and not. The Sims 2 - it’s the game that took a thousands days of many housewives. And seeing as the nice ships cost upwards of around 50k, this is a problem. The main space map is 2D, but you get a vast and almost 3D feel from the multiple layers of graphics.
I can never seem to get my money above around 10k. I've been playing for about 5 hours now and I suck. So I finally got around to getting this after repeatedly telling myself I had too little time and too many other games to play.
